Ice. Im skating on a frozen lake. I'm not very good and I'm shaking from the cold. I look down at what I'm wearing and nearly screamed. Something was definitely not right. I was wearing dark blue shorts with a light blue striped on the side and an old, baggy T-shirt with cracked, faded light blue letters that read Go Team Go. I had gotten rid of these clothes five years back. Why was I wearing them now? How could that be possible? I must have been thinking about it too much because I suddenly lost my balance and fell on my back. The ice was hard and cold, and the last thing I remembered before I blacked out was looking at the winter clouds.
I jumped out of the deepest sleep I ever had. Ice. I was surrounded by ice. Bags and bags of it. I was laying in a cracked, blue plastic wading pool. How did I get here? I must have been sleep walking. I do that a lot when I'm stressed out. One time I woke up on the roof outside my window. I never felt more terrified in my life, and to this day I am terrified of heights.
I walked around the room I was in. It was very dark. There were three windows along the back wall, but they were boarded up from the outside. I ran my hand along the wall to find a lightswitch, but there wasn't one. However, I did find the door. I opened it and the bright sunlight filtered in. Investigating the room was the only thing on my mind so I turned to look. I let the sunlight be my only source of light, since there wasn't any other source.
The room seemed oddly familiar. It was almost exactly like my tool shed behind my house. The only difference was that mine had a window on both the left and right walls, and they weren't boarded up.
I looked around and saw what looked like a small freezer. It was in the back corner, and upon further examination I found a pile of clothing. Some of the clothing slid of. A T-shirt. It was black with skulls on it. It's mine, I realized. I quickly changed into my clothes. After I had put on my favorite sneakers, I cautiously walked out the door.
When I saw the view I almost fainted. There were hilly fields surrounding the shed for what seemed like miles. I walked for a couple of miles but had to stop and listen carefully. I heard people screaming and running. They seemed angry. Upon hearing that I instantaneously dove into a small cave in the side of a small hill. It was covered with bushes. When I crouched down something fell of of the pocked of my hoodie. It was my cellphone. It was cracked, and I turned it on, but the screen stayed black, so I stashed it back in my pocket.
Just then a plethora of angry, seeming people erupted from a small patch of forrest. Where in the world did they come from? I asked myself. They came within feet from my hiding spot, and I thought they would find me. They ran right past. I breathed a sigh of relief.
I was exhausted, and started to dose of to no avail. Something or someone was breathing rapidly. It was a raspy and hoarse breathing. As the sunlight lit up two eyes, I realized I was not alone. Whover was behind did not look happy to have company.
