Theres still time to catch up with the news! Specially if you just came from work or school, and although I'm 5 hours late for this, here I am blogging again at 3dspaint.com!

Pokemon X/Y are the next generation pokemon games, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, which means they will be 3D as well!

The game features an open and fully 3D world, but from the gameplay footage it seems grid-walking has been preserved, which means you still can't walk in 8 directions.

The graphics received an huge update while maintaining the friendly and cartoonish visuals, but the world itself seems much more vivid from the picture. Battling has not changed too much aside the updated graphics and effects. I can't wait to see all that in 3D!

As you can see, it seems the game will make extensive use of different camera perspectives, first introduced in Diamond Pearl and used quite a lot on Black and White.

The release date is set to October 2013, and it will be the first pokemon game to be released simultaneously worldwide.

The 3 starters were revealed and legendaries were shown, aside that not much has been told. Whoever, It has been confirmed you will be able to catch pokemons from older generations right from the start. New wireless functionalities and 3DS specific functionalities have been confirmed, and will most likely be detailed in the following months.

This game looks so sick. I usually don't preorder video games, but this one might just change all of that. I personally like that they were able to switch over to 3D graphics while still keeping the classic Pokemon style. I was writing an article about these games too, but no need to be another voice in the crowd!

Sounds snazzy. I might even get a 3DS if more info' is revealed at some point and it turns out to be my kind of thing.
