Playing the guitar is a complex art, yet suprisingly the easiest instrament to learn how to play.
Ok, lets start with the strings, eh?

Those are the correct order of the strings from top to bottom.
But, they dont always have to be tuned like so, sometimes the E can be dropped to a B on certain songs.
Tuning your guitar is also too easy to be true, I've found it easy to tune the guitar simply by listening, but I've been playing the guitar for more than half my life. So to make it easier, heres the easiest tuning method:
firstly, find a way to tune the E string to the correct pitch, then the rest flows smooth as a river.
After you got E tuned, hold E's 5th fret, and pluck E and A at the same time, and listen, if you hear a pulse, its not tuned. Just turn the nob untill you no longer hear a pulse, then A is tuned, and carry on with the other strings:
E-5th fret
A-5th fret
D-5th fret
G-4th fret
B-5th fret
