I've been waiting for this game to be released ever since they announced a object creator for the third title at E3, and you can bet I was very excited to finally get my hands on the game.
But that quickly wore off after a quick Google search of how to get the object creator, as it turns out that the object creator was only for PC and the Wii U. The version for the 3DS is really just a copy of Scribblenauts with fancy graphics and adjectives, but at least the budget meter is gone, right? Nope. The game deletes objects without your permission if you have too many, so its still a form of the meter. This is ignorable on the Wii U and PC version as the object limit is around 60, but on the 3DS it can only handle 10. Also, the 3DS version has no Nintendo characters. Sure, the PC also doesn't have any Nintendo characters, but I'm guessing its because of copyright issues. Yet the 3DS is also owned by Nintendo, so wouldn't that allow them to put in the characters without many copyright problems mainly because they own everything? And one last thing I noticed is that you can't use potions on the character anymore, so you have to painstakingly type that ridiculously long adjective list for your character every time you reset a level.

Rant in a nutshell
----------------------------------------
This game is really just a downgrade and I would suggest that you avoid this title if you're a Scribblenaut like me, but I can't force you. I'd like to give this game a 0, but its still not as bad as Superman64 so I'll give it a....
5 and a half. Now the reason for this is because its just the two previous Scribblenauts titles mashed together and given better graphics, and I also have to consider how much of a disappointment this has to be to the fans. I mean, its one of the only DS exclusive titles worth buying, and now the developers are gearing it towards the PC and Wii U, leaving the 3DS version as a last minute port with less features. That's all, and hope you enjoyed reading. Please let me know in the comments if this was good or not.
See ya!
