The next version of the iOS app has been submitted to the App Store and will probably be available next weekend.

The big change is the addition of Groups. You will be able to browse through all public group pages in all Groups to which you are a member. The most notable feature, the ShoutBox, is included.

There have also been some tweaks to others parts of the app to help them run faster and cleaner.

This release also marks the beginning of the split between the free and paid versions. The only difference is that $0.99 (or equivalent) will remove the ad banner from the footer. You will be able to search "SDK Community" for the free one and "SDK Community Pro" for the paid one.

Some bugs to report

I havent been able to send a message from the app. If its a new message it says that I dont have permission to mail that member and if its a reply it says i have to fill in the subject and recipient even though those boxes are grayed and unclickable.

I'm on an iPad 1 running iOS 5.1.1

The replies definately were, I'm not sure about the other two. Although we used to message all the time.

I did all the message validation on the server-side, so it can be fixed without having to release a new version of the app.
