As I write this, the 1.2.1 version of the SDK Community app and the "Pro" ($0.99, ad-free) version are readying for sale in the App Store and may be ready by the time you read this.

1.2.1 adds Groups, including shoutboxes. After submitting the apps for review, I came across a bug in the shoutboxes, which can sometimes pop up when you post in rapid succession or view shouts from a group that is constantly seeing new shouts. The bug can hang up the app and require a restart of the entire app, if more than 1 shout rolls off the end of the shout amount configured to be visible (10-50). I have a fix for this ready to deploy to the store this weekend, but the review time will probably be another week. Just keep this in mind when using the groups. You, unfortunately, may have to avoid the bug by exiting and entering the shoutbox screen after every few posts.

Here is what I have planned for the next version of the app:
- Push alerts
- View alert section on main page
- Blog composing
- Speed enhancements

Just out of curiosity, would it be more beneficial for you to get paid $0.99 and get a split with Apple, or get a split with your ads and/or Apple?

It's too early to tell what the breakage point would be. The paid app looks like it would be the most beneficial in the short-term.

I bought the app mostly because I support this website. I understand the app is new so it's going to be buggy but I'd prefer to use my web browser. Can't wait for future updates (:

Idea for the blog composer:
Blogs could be saved on the device once an account is logged in, and there could be a button that shows a little dialog box pop-up that shows you all the BB codes that can be used in making a blog.
