I've hit a writer's block (of sorts) with TMJ and am asking for help from members of the community. We're good with sprites, tiles, story, enemies, game engine, cels, and many other aspects, but what we need is level designs. I am asking for one or more contributors in the team who can quickly begin sketching out rough level designs on paper or in a paint program to be used for tiling into final level maps. I haven't been able to find the time to design levels on my own then tile them into their final forms. It is just too time-consuming for me with so many other projects and duties during a typical day.
If you are seriously interested and can dedicate yourself to designing entire levels in a matter of days, then let me know in the blog comments, and I will get in touch with you. These levels should look like the style of RPGs of the 16-bit era. I am looking for villages, caves, castles, houses, farms, battlegrounds, ships, etc. Some specific levels with required layout templates are in high priority for the next couple weeks.
Because of these requirements, the Halvera Castle demo with King Drip Drop has been delayed into June, but I would like this demo to include Halvera Castle, Halvera Village (already sketched), and the cave leading to the valley that contains both. The last demo with the section of Bryn is going to be probably 5% of the size of this demo, so you will actually be able to explore this demo for a considerable amount of time before seeing everything.
Keep in mind that once level designs are in place, we can make the push for the final game release, since most of the engine has been ready for a few months.
Update 2013-07-14
I would like to take a break from the SDK Community App and focus my efforts on TMJ, but no one has offered any assistance beyond a simple "I'm interested!" that fizzles into nothing. Keep in mind that I have a family, a full-time job, and numerous other projects, so TMJ cannot be completed by me alone. If you want to help design levels, write character dialog, sprite enemies, draw tiles, or anything else,, please volunteer. I am ONLY interested in DEPENDABLE people who can QUICKLY churn out content. I would like to see something within a week of volunteering to prove interest.
As my appreciation for anyone who contributes, I will write a letter of recommendation for future employment, and you can use this community on a job résumé with me as a reference (phone number included). Additionally, I would like to do something for volunteers, once I am able to do so. This could be an eShop card, a T-shirt with TMJ artwork, or whatever is eventually decided.
Well my computer is finally up and running again. This means I can literally do anything that needs to be done. Just tell me what you need. You can message me on here or email Lacypushupbra@yahoo.com.
I was originally doing tile artwork, which I'm still trying to recover. A recent Processor malfunction left my computer unusable until I fixed it.

In fact, I've already sketched out a Shop, parts of a cave, and have begun work on a relatively small farm.
I'll finish them off then upload them by the 20th.
Oh! I also may be able to design art, drawing sketches out on paper and scanning them in, along with help with dialogue. If you need any help for either of those I'd be glad to help.
I've had experience writing dialogue previously, so I'm definitely happy to work on that (or anything that doesn't require the ability to draw, except maybe level design).
Give me a scene and it'll be done by the end if the week, at the latest.

How would you like to write dialog for one of the most pivotal scenes of the first chapter?

Email me at ganondorf99@gmail.com if that's easier for you. I sent you a message on here, but I'm not sure if you got it or not.

also, my old account was TiberiusSteam, if you wish to check on my past activities. I created a new account because I wanted to be called by my preferred alias.
HullBreach, if you can wait until September, I am pretty good at designing things. I will be both ready and willing to help with TMJ at that time, but until mid-September I will be very busy. you can contact me at 15findlje@LRSD.net; I check my Email around every other day, but will be at my cabin or on vacation for most of the summer. sincerely, Icarus
I can help with character dialogue, don't know if you've already gotten as many people as you need. If you need help though, I could finish work in a few days and get it back to you.
PM Me if you need some story lines written.
I am really good at writing, and if you want work samples I can PM it to you.
I can give you the story lines under a week if you provide all the details of what you need.
I really want to see this game come out. So I might as well help, right?
I apologize for not contributing more. I actually recently began my own project, and am doing all of my own designs for that, so my creative energy is all being consumed by that.

Also, volunteers could get an exclusive badge on their profile showing that they volunteered, because most of us aren't in it for physical gain such as eShop cards or T-Shirts, we just want to help.
I'd like some information on exactly what you need when you say "write character dialog." I can't script or anything but if you just need words to put in, I can contribute.

It would be like dialog from a scene in a play.

So I would just need to type it up and send it to you? If so, I'd be happy to help. Send me some information and I can get most of it done by tomorrow, since I'm only on a 3DS right now.

I just sent you a friend request. After I get home from work, I'll provide the settings and the outlines of what needs to be said in the dialog for each situation.

I would LOVE to help out! I like helping others and I especially love to draw. If you could just please send me some more details on what spacifically you would like me to do, that would be great. However, it would be easier for me to get info through the mail on this website. Thankyou!
What happened to the town I created a while back? Is that one still being used? I can probably try something. Just mail me and list out what you need exactly. Make a list like
Town Name
-Thing in town
-Thing in town 2
Town Name 2
-Thing in town
ETC.
Or something like
Battlefield
-Thing in the battlefield
ETC.
Just mail me and I'll see what I can do. I have nothing better to do anyways.

I won't be able to contribute in the following weeks, but as soon as this college semester is over I might contact those working on level designs and provide some material.
Im surprised that you stood devoted to its creation , i could make some templates likely if i had a clearer idea and ì'd like to know if i could send you it in an rpg xp maker layout [if you use that to make any games] level design is much simpler on there
It's using the Norse mythos, correct? So level designs should also reflect that.

For the most part, that is correct, but it deviates from the Norse theme as the story progresses, due to the powerful rock that Jasper's parents discovered.
