The iPod touch is a wonderful device. And what makes it better is that there are secrets to it.
1. Got an app you don't like? Tap and hold the app untill all the apps start dancing. Then tap the little X on the top left of the app you want to delete. You can also arrange them using that.
2. Plug in your iTunes earbuds (the ones with the remote controls) and hold down the home button.
You'll see what happens.
(Note: this only works on iPod touch 3G, 32Gigs or higher)
3. Hold down the screen lock button for about five seconds. You should know what to do when you see what happens.
4. NEVER jailbreak your iPod. It's about as stupid as leaving your new car out in a hailstorm. It will void your warranty, which means you wouldn't have insurrence on that car after it's been damaged.
There is indeed one secret that I haven't mentioned. All iPods have this secret, but many have claimed that the iPod touch hasn't one. They are wrong. I found it by accident one morning when I powered up my iPod (I shut it down nightly). And I only seen it once. I'm trying to find it again, but there is no luck.
The secret is called the LDS. Legendary Diagnostics Screen. It gives access to the testing programs that licenced Apple personel use to repair and diagnose problems.
I hope to find it once again one day.
