"Neo! Get out of bed!" the Scout's voice and the sound of metal hitting metal woke Neo.
It looked like the sun had been up for about an hour. "Shut up, Jon... What time is it?"
"What time?" He laughs, "It's 0715!"
"0715?" She jumps out of bed to get ready for the day, "Why didn't ya wake me up sooner?"
"Well, it looked like you needed the sleep..." Jon gained a shoe to the head from an annoyed Demoman, "Ow!"
"That's fer not wakin' me up!" Neo picks up the boot and puts it on.
"Jeez, wolfie..." The Scout walks out. She puts on her vest and runs down to the kitchen where the other late risers were having their breakfast.
"Took ya long enough, mate." says Artemis.
"Oi, not my fault nobody woke me up!" retorts the Demoman. Starfall whacked Neo in the back of the head, "You should be able to get yourself up!"
Neo growls and slaps together a quick breakfast, which she ate just as fast. Fablotic came in, "Battle is early today!"
"Vhen is it?" asks Arthur.
"In about an hour."
Starfall jumps up, "We need to be there already! Let's mov- Hey!" The Mobian was restrained by Neo, "Can't ya give me a break?" She releases the angry Soldier and goes to gather her weapons

15 minutes later, they were headed to the match. When they got there, the BLUs were just arriving. It was a Payload match on the Upward field. The BLUs were pushing and the REDs were trying to beat them back. The REDs went to their respawn and got ready. "We won't lose today!" says Fablotic.
Starfall seemed rather hyped for the battle today, "Those BLUs won't even get halfway before it's clear that we're dominating them!"
Neo rolls her eyes and stashes an extra pack of stickies away for later use. She was ready ahead of time, so she went to explore the map before it was time to start.
The rails went uphill quite a lot, making it harder for the BLU team to push the bomb. This could be to their advantage, since most of their stronger teammates were also some of the best fighters. Then she went to look in on the BLUs. They were arguing over who was pushing and who was defending the pushers. She didn't see Felix however. Maybe he was inside the respawn room, where she couldn't get to at that time.
<Round starts in 5 minutes>
That's the signal. Neo ran back to the RED Spawn room, where she encountered Fablotic, "Go to the first checkpoint and set up there! Arthur and I will join you in a minute!"
"Got it!" She ran off to the first checkpoint, where she placed stickies near and on the rails where she knew they would be walking.
<Round starts in 2 minutes>
The Heavy and the Medic joined her, "Are they up?" Neo nods and goes to hide nearby.
<Round starts in 60 seconds>
Arthur was working on getting an Übercharge ready. In the distance, she could hear the Engineers setting up their buildings.

Neo double-checked her defenses.

That nagging feeling came back. She tried to push it down, but with no success.

<1. GO!>
That nagging feeling wasn't going to go away. The wolf heard gunfire. Their offensive group was chasing them, and it sounded like they were doing a good job so far.
They didn't have to wait long, because soon Neo could see the bomb and it's BLU escort coming around the corner. What was a bit odd was that the Spy wasn't with the bomb. Then a prickly feeling made the fur on the back of her neck stand on end. A decloak sound, and she spotted him behind Arthur. She threw her Caber at Felix and it hit. The Medic noticed him and finished him off with his Bonesaw. He tossed the Caber back to her and she caught it and swapped out for her Launcher.
Pained cries meant that they had met with the first of the Demoman's bomb, but now her BLU counterpart, Typhiac, was taking them down before the rest of the team got there. Neo looked questioningly at Fablotic who glanced at Arthur, then nodded. The Medic had an Ubercharge ready. The wolf climbed up on top of the rock she was hiding behind and began to fire grenades at the pushers. The Milotic came out and opened fire on them with no fear of losing.
Their ambush was quickly over with as they get rid of the rest of the BLUs. "Vell," says the German, "Ve may as vell have ze day von at zis rate!"
"I'll say!" Jon tosses his bat in the air, then catches it and swung it around.
Starfall narrowly misses Jon's bat, "Careful, private!"
Suddenly, Neo's head wasn't in the war anymore. "Company!" calls Flare as they see the BLU team returning from the spawn. They had changed their tactics and were better prepared this time.

The BLUs managed to get to the second checkpoint and they were headed to the third, which L.A.S.S. had thoroughly defended with Level 3 Sentries. None of the REDs, not even Frice were able to reclaim the point. But Neo wasn't about to give up without a fight.
She ran from the second point to the third point and promptly began to try and take them out with her grenades. One of the Sentries spotted her and fired. The wolf thought she had avoided most of them until a sudden, violent pain stabbed her side. She doubled back and hid in a building. Upon examining her side, she found that the turret had gotten a lucky shot and had barely missed her lungs, but it was enough to cause her enough pain and blood loss to not be able to find the Medic in time.
With no idea of where she could find help, she decided to stay where she was until the rest of her team came by. They were either back at spawn, fending off the BLUs or at the final checkpoint, which was too far for Neo's injured self. She found a small area where she hoped she wouldn't be found by enemies and hid there.
Soon, the battle became muffled and blurry and she drifted in and out of consciousness.
