One cold and rainy fall day, a school kid gets home to his house. Tired and bored of schoolwork, he sits down to play his favorite game, Earthbound for the Snes. Todd came from a poor family, who can't afford much for themselves.
Todd decides to take his chance with the 16 bit gem while his family is away. As he starts up the snes, he is imagining all the different things he loves about earthbound. As soon as he presses start, the power goes out and a loud crash can be heard in the distance. Todd is scared for he is only ten years old. Looking at the earthbound cartridge, he puts on his ball cap and grabs his bat.
Todd heads out to the unknown. The thief, who cut the power realizes that Todd was in the house and knocks him out. Todd finds all his courage and strength to get up, but sadly it's to late. The thief stole his beloved earthbound game.
Todd leaves his house to enter the real world to be continued...
