Here are some more details on the library for aspiring authors:
- All content will come from blogs.
- Allowable blog categories are: Educational, Inspirational, Poetry, and Short Story.
- The library submission can be tagged with one or more genre (i.e. suspense, mystery, sci-fi, etc.).
- Multiple blogs can be assembled as chapters for a larger work.
- The Library will automatically generate a table of contents for blog collections.
- Each work can include an author bio with a Savii.
- Each work can include cover art, created from one of the "Paints".
- Views will be counted for a Best "Sellers" list.
- All submission details can be set up under the upcoming My Zone overhaul.
- To be eligible for submission, the voted rating must be at least a 10, but featuring is not a requirement.
- The Library will come to the DSi and 3DS/2DS simultaneously.
Obviously, with all of this, the library won't be coming this weekend, but some of the framework will be put into place. You may already notice some of the changes already made this weekend.
If you have any questions or ideas, feel free to leave them in the comments.
So if I take my story from FanFiction and put it on here, 10 Up Votes means it's in the library? Is that on any chapter of the story it goes up or if the first chapter gets it thebstory goes up?
1. How will this work? Will all blogs with Short Story, Inspirational, Educational, or Poetry as a category just be automatically added to it, or what?
2. What if there are parts of a series with a voting of under 10, but most of them have more than 10 (Such as The Internet)? Will all the parts be submitted, or just the ones with a +10 vote?
3. Do we have to put anything on the paintings for them to be added to the digitallibrarybookwhatever's cover?

1. Any blogs that fit the criteria will show on a new administrative page under My Settings for each member to set up Library submissions.
2. I haven't determined that aspect of the approval process yet. Since this process is completely new, we can expect it to be in beta release for a little while to determine the best way to handle situations like that.
3. Anything you want for the cover will work, since it's whatever you want to draw viewers to your literature.
