GUYS, SO THIS IS HOW TO HIPSTER IN FIVE STEPS.

1. LOVE COFFEE
You must enjoy a frequent cup of ground bean flavor in order to be a hipster. Of course, a cup in a mug at home won't do. Hipsters get their coffee at Starbucks. If you want a few terms that you can toss around in coffee shop conversation, you can try using "Latte", which means "Love". Another word commonly heard in coffee shops is "Espresso". This means "Tax return". So if, while you're ordering, you overhear someone saying something about Espresso, you can jump into a deep conversation about politics. Feel free to share your political views with them.

2. BRING YOUR LAPTOP
See, hipstering doesn't just mean lurking in the corner of Starbucks. Although it can be fun to stare at attractive people while they're ordering or drinking their coffee, especially if said people are as beautiful as BanMan, it doesn't fit the hipster life enough. You should bring your laptop. It's best if you have a Macbook, but don't worry, you can have a clunky Windows laptop too. If you don't own a laptop though, bring your desktop.

3. POST BLOGS AND TWITTERS
With your trusty computer, two main tabs are great to have open in your browser: Your personal blog and Twitter. One good blog topic is about writing blogs. Also, post things on Twitter such as a picture of your Starbucks. When you tweet, verbally tweet in the coffee shop for about fifteen seconds so people know you are hipstering. If you have a smartphone, take a selfie and post it on Instagram. If you do this, definitely add a filter to make it look more hipster. Three or four hashtags usually work well. Some other Instagram ideas are pictures of your shoes, your laptop, or a sneaky snap of the person at the table next to you.

4. FACIAL APPEARANCE
Since selfies have been mentioned, what exactly does a hipster look like? Well, one usually has glasses. But what if you don't need glasses? You don't need special lenses in them, then. Large frame glasses are typical of hipsters. And since the top of the head is usually in selfies, a knit hat adds another level of hipster, especially if worn near the back of the head. To be even cooler, wear it around your neck.

5. CLOTHING STYLES
Getting a custom t-shirt with your face on it would be nice, but another popular shirt option would be a plaid design. Now what happens if both a t-shirt and plaid shirt are worn together? Brilliance. Way more hipsterness. You could wear the t-shirt outside the plaid shirt too. Whatever works for you. Also, hipsters wear skinny jeans because they think they're cool. For shoes, they often wear brown or black casual shoes. Those shoes with lights on the side are pretty cool, though. With such classy clothes on, one more thing you can do is sit facing the folks at a nearby table and stick your legs out at them so they can see your stylish attire.
