If you want to grow up big and strong, a Wii U may be able to help you. If you get Wii Fit.
If you want to grow up big, you could eat a large pizza every day.
Back on topic though, maybe you're one of those people that thinks the Wii U is failing.
LOL.
The "lol nintdneo iz gona fale with there new counsel" thing is old, and people say stuff like that for almost all, if not all Nintendo consoles. Why do people think that? It's lulz. And some people are like "its da new virtuel boy". And that is wrong. Did the Virtual Boy sell millions of units? No. It didn't even sell one million. The Wii U is well past that now, and currently has plenty of good games with more amazing fun in the near future.
And if you think the Wii U is gimmicky because of the new Gamepad controller, you have an incorrect thought. It's actually not overused. It has some clever uses.
Not convinced?
You want another reason to get a Wii U?
Okay. I saved this reason for last. It's...
...It's what Reggie wants you to do. Reggie wants you to buy a Wii U. Go get a Wii U.
"The Wii U is well past that now, and currently has plenty of good games with more amazing fun in the near future." Really? Then why is my system catching dust?
Only dedicated Nintendo fans would buy a console purely for Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 (which is still not even out yet). The console is not bad at all, but the problem is that there is no support for it. Instead; we get Gameboy Advance games on the eShop while we wait months for /something/ to happen.
That's just disappointing.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze was good. And Wonderful 101 was amazing. Pikmin 3, also really fun. Sonic Lost World is also great.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, while just an upgraded port, is still really fun. Wind Waker HD, the same. Really good port.
There's also a few decent things. I wouldn't consider Nintendo Land, Game & Wario, NES Remix, or Mario and Sonic 2014 to be system sellers, but they're all decent. New Super Mario, and New Super Luigi, both pretty fun.
While not exclusives, there's still quite a lot of third-party games that are good. Need For Speed Most Wanted U and Deus Ex are among some of the better ones. Assassin's Creed, Batman, and Call of Duty are still there. And then there's quite a bit on the eShop. Indie stuff, Virtual Console stuff.
And of course, definitely more still on the way. Retro is working on "a new project" which I'm really hoping to be a new Metroid. A new Yoshi, new Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, X, and of course there's gotta be a lot more. Nintendo is pretty secretive about upcoming projects. It was just announced that Tomodachi Life is hitting in June. That's, what, a little over a month away? As opposed to a game like Mario Kart, which we've known of for forever.
Not gonna say the Wii U doesn't need more games, more games would definitely help.
But to say it only has Super Mario 3D World is a bit of an understatement.
If we're gonna rank systems only by their 10 out of 10 software, the Xbox Juan only has Titanfall. And the PS4 has nothing. Infamous was alright, but I wouldn't even call it a 10 out of 10 game. Unless you want to argue how underrated Knack was, or how Killzone isn't actually a faceless generic shooter.
As far as next-gen gaming goes, I don't think the Wii U has anything to worry about.
tl;dr, Maxi is a filthy casual.

Never said Super Mario 3D World is the only game available. It's one of the few games for the Wii U that's really standing out. Just like all the other Mario games, really.
Considering I have a Xbone, I can tell you that it has more content and features than the Wii U does. Killer Instinct, Titanfall, Strider, in-game recording and live streaming... you name it. That's the kind of stuff that sells in the gaming industry of today. Not MiiVerse and virtual console games.
Anyway. Just like you, Wafflulz, I'm hoping that all those games do come out soon. I wouldn't have bought the system if I didn't have confidence that Nintendo can make some great games on it. But for now, there's little available on it. And that's sad.
