E3 did not disappoint! Fancy schmancy new trailer including cutscenes, footage of battles and a small amount of the overworld can be found here.
I guess it should go without saying that the trailer might count as a spoiler if you're planning on isolating yourself from any info' on this.
As for release dates:
November 21st: Japan, Australia, New Zealand, US;
November 28th: Europe;
Because Nintendo hates Europe for some reason.
So there was a little bit in there about stuff like Professor Layton and Smash bros, but who cares about that really?
So far our info' isn't crazy complete, but for those who are out of the loop, here's what we've got so far:
This is actually being used for spoilers. Crazy right?
Mega evolutions for all three starters are confirmed. Not too many surprises there.
It's also confirmed that Steven Stone will, in some form, at some time, own a Mega Charizard. Whether or not this is a permanent part of his champion team remains
to be seen.
We also know that teams Magma and Aqua are getting uniform and character changes, as well as the main characters getting updated outfits as well. It's not yet certain whether the games will have the same level of customisation available in X and Y.
Mega evolutions are carrying over, and are activated with items called "Mega bangles."
Groudon and Kyogre are also confirmed to have "Primal" forms. Presumably they're stronger in these forms. In his primal form, Groudon gains a part fire type. They look slightly different with more glowy lines and stuff, but still recognisable. Also, no new info' on it or anything, but let's not forget that shot of mega Lati@s.
As I am truly a benevolent leader, it is my solemn duty to pick some of the best bits of the trailer and spoon-feed them into your hungry, nostalgia-craving mouths.
As such, here is an Imgur album of some of the most interesting parts.
Also Archie now looks like he's wearing a dodgy superhero cosplay or something.
That's more or less everything important. Let me know if I forgot anything crucial.
