I realize this could be a perfect opportunity to rant about medical ads in general and how they are stupid, but I'm going to leave this one on the little words that show up on screen during these commercials:

THIS AD IS ADVERTISING AN AD. WHAT IS THIS.



HASN'T EVERYTHING ALREADY BEEN COVERED ABOUT THE DRUGS IN THE COMMERCIAL? ALL THE SIDE EFFECTS AND POTENTIAL DEATH OF USERS OF ADVERTISED DRUG? ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT NOBODY WANTS TO READ ANYWAY BECAUSE THEY'RE DEPRESSING? AND THEN YOU WANT AN ANTIDEPRESSANT IN ADDITION SO NOW YOU HAVE TO TAKE TWO DRUGS.





YUCK.





Are we trying to advertise magazines? Are we trying to make old people feel like the internet is nonexistant?

Even if the purpose of these little words is to give people an opportunity to read the terms and stuff without feeling rushed since they'll disappear in three seconds anyway, who cares since before you take drugs you'll have to talk to a doctor?
