It's pretty much the perfect setup. You have fat people eating fat people food on the couch, watching TV. Oh, it's ad time. Boom. Fitness ad. Advertise a weight loss program, you have fat people sign up. How much better can it get?
Much better, thanks.
Why do the hostesses in the fitness ads wear so much makeup?
Let me say that again.
WHY DO THE HOSTESSES IN THE FITNESS ADS WEAR SO MUCH MAKEUP?
That's better.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH, YOU DON'T NEED THAT MUCH FAKE ON YOUR FACE. IT LOOKS BAD, AND I MEAN IT LOOKS LEGITIMATELY BAD. WHO EVEN HIRES THE PEOPLE THAT PUT ALL THAT ON YOU? IT'S LIKE PUTTING TOO MUCH FROSTING ON A CAKE.
"yeah it is a cake"
"no it is a frosting"
"there's a little bit of cake under there"
...
"yeah it is a person"
"no it is a makeup monster"
"there's a little bit of person under there"
Nice analogy, BanMan. 10/10
OKAY SO DON'T LOOK LIKE PLASTIC. EVERYBODY CAN TELL IT'S NOT REAL. ARE THESE PEOPLE TRYING TO HIDE SOMETHING? ARE THEY ACTUALLY ASIAN UNDERNEATH ALL OF THAT OR WHAT?
There's too much makeup, and then there's TOO MUCH MAKEUP. This is the latter.
It's irritating. I don't know why it's more apparent in fitness ads. That's weird. Hopefully the diets they advertise don't make people's faces ugly.
Oh right, the makeup does that. It's not pretty. And I don't know who would think it is.
So I guess the main idea here is
YOU HAVE A FACE, DON'T PASTE THAT MUCH STUFF ALL OVER IT.
