This is a comparison.
This is the first comparison.
Of the movie
Insurgent.
A movie.
That
Could've been just a three part movie series.
But was made into a 4 part series.
Uhhhhhhhhh...
This entire blog is a spoiler so yeah. I'm not going to bother using spoilers.
We'll start off with comparing the movie to the book.
Haven't read the book?
Well here's what happens in the second book:
Tris(main character) and her boyfriend (named Four) are traveling with a bunch of their groups members to a 'faction'. They arrive at said faction, action happens. They leave. They go to another faction that was never a faction, they decide against a war. They go to another faction, they get the rest of their faction back. They go back to said non-faction, they start war. While war was started they (the group of now like 60 or so people) go outside the fence and travel forward.
All it is at first is corn fields, then they come to a city, action happens, drama book ends.
Tris(main character) and her boyfriend (named Four) are traveling with a bunch of their groups members to a 'faction'. They arrive at said faction, action happens. They leave. They go to another faction that was never a faction, they decide against a war. They go to another faction, they get the rest of their faction back. They go back to said non-faction after everyone is shot with sleep serum.
Well lol after they get to said non-faction, the thingy that contained the sleep serum also has a radio-active transmitter that communicates with your brain telling you to say "bring Tris to Erudite"(the smart faction) and then go commit suicide.
Well lol that thingy is activated on three different people and Tris and this one girl stop two of them from jumping. But they couldn't save all three. The third one dies. Somewhere in there, they say the suicides stop if Tris gives herself up. Drama happens. Tris turns herself in.
She has to pass multiple 'trials' to open a box with a hidden message
On the last trial she fails, but someone put a knock out drug in her for her to seem dead after she failed. He takes the 'dead' body down to the idiot boyfriend who also turned himself in. He gets pissed. Guy who was wheeling her is like hey, want to do that thing? They knock out those two guards, Tris wakes up, guy disables cameras. Yay
Then Tris has to go and open that box
Why
Why
Why
She makes it past the last trial, opens the message, finds out that she is needed outside the wall
Bunch of their faction starts storming the headquarters of that faction with said non-faction.
Cool
We all win
After we air the message on every tv
Okay we did that
What we do with leader?
Lock leader up
THE WHOLE CITY STARTS TOWARDS THE WALL TO EXIT TOWARDS SOME UNKNOWN CITY OR SOMETHING
New leader walks into old leader's jail cell
Says "Too bad you'll never be able to see what's out there"
She's like "we've been inside these walls for 200 years"
The irony of how she'll never find out what's out there sets in along with the fact that she has to stay in that jail cell, wondering what is outside the fence
BUT NO
YOU KNOW WHAT
THE LEADER HAS TO SHOOT HER IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD
UGGGHHHHHHHG
THAT WAS THE END OF THE MOVIE
HORRIBLE, RIGHT!?
YEAH. UGH
UGH
UGH
UGH
UGH
UGHHH
Now, with the actual review
This movie.
Was horrible. They extended it to where they get to make a final two movies.
Pissed me off.
Added a whole new concept with that stupid box.
The ending was horrible.
Also, how are you going to have an entire city travel to another city?
I don't understand.
I'm sorry you read this blog.
The part where I went to the bathroom after the movie was more enjoyable.
I'm sorry.
I feel bad for you.
Let's end the review.

Yep, that bad.
If you haven't read the book at all the movie would actually be good.
You might be behind on who everyone is at first.
You'll be more behind if you didn't see the first movie lol.
K
Bye.
