This is a Gist of it review. It's a quick review, perfect for if you're in a hurry! Now, go.
EDGE. A simple platformer with complex mechanics.
EDGE is a game revolving around you, a little cube. At the start of a level, a robotic voice states the name of the level, and then you`re off. You travel on grey platforms, and you might notice the rainbow-colored prisms. Walking over a prism, causes the corner of your screen to become white, and then your cube begins flashing different colors rapidly. THIS MAY CAUSE SEIZURES,I'M ACTUALLY NOT SURE, BUT TO BE SAFE...yeah. These give you bonus points based on however many you have.
You also get bonus points by hanging on edges. The way I do this, at least is by lightly pushing the joystick whilst climbing up stairs. It pops up "0:01", which symbolizes how many seconds you've been hanging.
A bigger aspect of the game; the plates. Step on them, and something will happen. Normally they will raise other platforms, but sometimes they can go as far as making you a robot suit!
Depending on the time it takes to complete the level, you get a rank. It does not do anything.
That was the gist of EDGE! If you are not interested in platformer ggames like this, or just don't like the sound of it, that's okay. But I highly recommend it. Now, on your way!
