Instead of the usual stuff, I got a cheese pizza, an orange, and gatorade.
The sun is out and the birds are chirping but I can`t enjoy it. I look out at the tables that were empty moments ago, but are now filled with people. That could never be me, in crowds of people, talking to everyone and laughing without a care in the world. That life will never be mine. It makes no sense to sit here and drown my mind with scenarios that could never happen, so I get up to go throw away what I didn`t finish.
I walk passed my crush, and to the garbage can. I dump my things and turn around, someone pushes me and I knock right into Terra. Her tray, with food still on it, spills all over her white dress. I`m dead!
"Terra, I`m so sorry, here let me help clean it up," I say while grabbing napkins.
"NO! Get away from me.. Now!" she begins to cry as her friends rush over to her. "My dress! My NEW dress! You`re really in for it now Sage!" she says, more so yells.
I run out of the courtyard and go inside to wait for the bell to ring.I start to walk towards an empty table when my crush-Shaun- stops me.
"Hey that looked pretty bad out there, you okay?" he asks.
"Oh uhm..yeah, I`m fine." I say shyly. The next thing I know, he`s wrapping me in a hug.
"I know you like me, not gonna lie I like you too," he says softly.
"Really?" I ask.
"Really," he says. Then I feel his hand slip further down my back, until I feel his hand touching me where he shouldn`t.
"Don`t touch me like that," I say, trying to back up.
"I thought you liked me baby, what`s the problem?"
"Let go of me!" I yell, prying his hands off of me. "Don`t you ever put your hands on me like that! Never talk to me again!" I yell.
"I guess you`re not as easy as I thought," he says, grinning.
Finally, the bell rings for fifth hour and I dart down the hallway to my class. I just have to sit through these last classes, and I can go home.
