What is Social Development? I don't even know. My Psychology teacher likes to talk. The laying attention part you ask? Oh, well... You see that's really hard, give or take depending on the subject. Okay, let me be honest, the way my Psychology teacher teaches us is great, notes. With videos, some gigs and occasionally dank memes. The rarest and dankest memes you could find, you could almost call them the rankest memes there are.
Right now I have this project for Psychology, which in fact I'm doing right now. I'll link it at the bottom in the spoiler if in fact you are wondering what my project is.
Oh Social Development, first let's start off with the what. Social Development is how you develop socially(Obviously), but includes: learning values, the knowledge and skills you know.
How is your knowledge and skills related to social development? Well, imagine if when you were born in a shack, and left there, with let's say an automatic robotic feeder. Okay, so you have this robot practically raising you, bit you never have any actual interaction with it. How would you be able to learn more advanced practices, even if you were to meet your own species, you wouldn't be able to communicate effectively, you wouldn't even be able to read, probably wouldn't know what any common stuff is or anything, just almost brain dead. No knowledge of the world. Which skills is exactly the same way except you can learn some skills without being able to communicate and read right? You're limited on what you can learn, still.
Developing socially, now when you think of that, it's obvious what it means right? It's how you develop, socially. But what you do t know is that social develoent can effect how you interact with people your entire life. Let's say you didn't get a lot of social interaction in your baby stages through, high school. You may not be able to communicate as effectively as others, may have more trouble controlling impulses, and behaving socially acceptable.
Now with the why. Social Development is important because of its impact on everyday living, such, going to school, working walking down the street, ordering something on the phone, or in person, so on and so forth.
And you know when Psychologists started researching Social Development? 30 years ago. Woah. Woah woah woah.
That's all to know about it, boom.
Happy days.
