You read that right, customizable shoes. Like fully customizable.



The company, going by Shiftwear is trying to startup a business with fully customizable shoes. You may be asking yourself how in the hell they would accomplish that. Well their plan is to put an e-paper in the side of the shoe, including an app you can use to edit the design.

The shoes would be machine washable, so most likely rain wouldn't damage them too much.

They are also trying to figure out how to power it, either a charge or some kind of walk to charge output, which is, if they can pull it off.

They were doing a campaign for getting money to launch the operations but I believe that they are almost up and ready to be released in fact.(More info here:click)

I personally want that, really bad. All my shirts are sports brand so I can't show off any of my interests except through lanyards, but being able to show it on my shoes? You don't even know dude.

The cost is around $150 for low cut, price only goes up by the shoe design.
