Back in the day when I was about 3 or 5 my dad and I used to listen to Janis Joplin in the car. Around 9 or 10 I tried googling her and couldn't find her. And it wasn't until today that I found her.

Janis Joplin is a classic rock singer who went solo under her own name and was also a part of the band Big Brother and the Holding Company. Eminem actually based an older song if his if hers. (Rock Bottom - Eminem, Summertime, Janis Joplin(Give it a listen just to hear the resemblance, it's a little scary.))
