Hi. Before you read this blog, I'm making sure to tell you that RedFlarezz made Chapter 1 on her account, and I'm doing this blog, which is Chapter 2 of Extended Night, on my account. I'm doing this because this is my point of view. The date in this story is set in the future.
Anyways, without further ado, let's jump into Chapter 2!

My name is Zen. I have short dirty blonde hair, and silver-blue eyes. My height is 4 feet, 9 inches. Also, I'm a girl. I live with my sister, my dad, my mom, my 2 cats, 1 dog, and a guy named Ryu, who has a room in our attic. He just randomly came to our house one night and we decided that he could move on with us.
Anyways....
I was sleeping peacefully at about 2:00 A.M. when suddenly, my sister, Flare came running into my room. She abruptly slammed the door, looking terrified. "What, I was sleeping!" I yelled at her, very annoyed that she burst into my room, waking me from my sleep.
She didn't answer me, and was staring into the corner of my room, where our dog Daisy was lying down. "Daisy!" Flare called to her. Daisy stood up, hearing her name, and came over to my sister. Flare hugged the boxer dog, shaking all over. "Flare! Tell me! What the hell happened?!" She looked up at me and said,"Umm... Jazzy and Poppy.. Woke me up. And, you probably won't believe me, but.. They're evil. One of them clawed me and left a wound on my foot. They had glowing red eyes."
"Yeah! I'm not going to believe you! You're acting like you're five again, having monster nightmares." I replied, rolling my eyes at her. "No," she protested, "it wasn't a nightmare. I freaking swear. If you don't believe me–—" BANG! A loud noise at my door cut her off. I heard scratching at my door. "I think the cats want in." I said, walking to my door and opening it. Flare looked shocked. "What?" I asked. Then...
I looked outside my door. There was Poppy, with red glowing eyes. She had morphed into a huge cat. She had grown fangs, and her paws had massive claws. Then Jazzy, a black cat. Jazzy had morphed into an even bigger cat, and had ginormous fangs, and glowing red eyes. Her claws were long, and had blood on them.
"AUUGHHHH!" I screamed. Just as Poppy and Jazzy were about to lunge for me, I slammed the door in both faces, and they hissed at me. My eyes were wide as I pressed my back against the door, my heart pumping wildly. "You were right! T-They are evil! Flare, stay in my room tonight so we don't get killed by them....!" I ordered, throwing one of my pillows at her. She caught it and walked over to my other bed, an air matress with a quilt. "...Ok, Goodnight Zen." She replied in a monotone voice. She still seemed to be recovering from her shock. Her shaking hands pulled the quilt over herself as she turned to face the wall.
"Goodnight." I said back. Before I went to sleep, I moved a heavy chair in front of my door to keep the cats out. Then, I climbed back into bed. We have to sleep until 5:30am. That's when we get up for school...The first day of school. Oh boy.
Hopefully we don't die.
