Dead? Nah. I'm still alive and at Job Corps. Sadly, I won't be on as much. There's no Wi-Fi here and I have limited cell data (also I'm very busy now with classes). But that doesn't mean you guys should set Paint on fire (at least not without me leading it)
Anyway, what is Job Corps and what is it like? Job Corps is a free, government funded vocational program. Basically, the government program gives you a chance to get an education and career training for free (and also a place to stay while you do the first two things if you choose to live here). I've been here for almost a week now and they take this program seriously. They have more rules than 2010 Paint and if you don't follow them, you get "permabanned" from the program. But again, if you can follow the strict rules and keep up with the work, you will have a better future (at least I hope I do).
What's it like there? It's like high school and college with very strict rules. It's hard if you're used to being laid back. They will keep you busy. For the past week, I've had what I would best describe a boot camp instructor from hell. If he catches you distracted (like staring out the window) even for 1 second, you will be sent out of class. I kid you not. This is the closest thing to a boot camp I have ever experienced.
The food's okay. Slightly better than high school food.
Also, there's no wifi. You're stuck with cell data or mooching off someone else's mobile hotspot if you can be friends with them.
I almost forgot. What class will I be taking here? Office adminstration. Basically, organizing paperwork and being on a computer all day. I have plans to transfer to an another Job Corps center to take computer technician.
Anyway, back to Paint. As I've said, I won't be on much but I have friends that watches this site for me. If someone needs a permaban, they will tell me. I check their messages every day after class. Anyway, please try not to kill each other while I'm gone.
