Savii I’ve been working on updates to the profanity filter so that you will be able to choose whether or not it is active when you are logged into your account. You can currently toggle it under Settings, where it defaults to an active state. The chatrooms have been updated to support the toggle. Over time, other areas of the community will make use of the toggle, as well. I’ll try to get to blogs this weekend.

UPDATE: Blogs support the filter toggle, now.

Also minor detail to those of us who aren't new, the chatroom rules should be updated a bit because of this. /rules says admins can ban for swearing but I don't think that part is needed by the looks of this new feature.
