Charlie's friends have secrets. Not normal secrets. Charlie sets out to find the truth, and when he does, it changes his life forever. -1-
Charlie, Tomas, Mitchell and Ash stood in a circle. "Bound by pack, not by blood," they chanted, and raised their fists in the air.
"Oh, c'mon, Charlie, join the fun," Mitchell said.
"Yeah, fun, right," scoffed Charlie.
"It's the super blood wolf moon," Ash reasoned, and looked back at Mitchell with a worried look on his face.
"So? What's gonna happen? Like every other night, we come out here, and at 9 o'clock exactly you tell me to leave. Then for the next 4 hours those stupid dogs won't shut-up. How am I supposed to cope with that?" Mitchell flinched at the words. Charlie continued, "Just because the moon is red, that doesn't change anything."
Tomas cut in. "Mate, we gotta bunch of pizzas and no-one to eat 'em. You down or what?"
"Well i am kinda hungry, to be honest." Charlie said, then leapt up, the boys following.
"Oh god, no. Not tonight!" Ash complained.
"What is it?" Tomas asked.
Ash pointed into the distance where they could see a figure walking towards them.
"It's Felicity," Mitchell groaned. "Out of all nights, why tonight??"
As Felicity walked up to the group she started to speak. "Boys, we've got a- er," She looked to Charlie, "-a problem."
"Who is this?" Charlie asked.
Everyone ignored him.
"Uh Felicity, now's really not the best time..." Mitchell said.
They all looked at Charlie.
"What?" he asked.
"Should we tell him?" Tomas said.
"We can't," Ash replied.
"He has to find out on his own," Mitchell said.
Charlie was growing impatient. "WHAT?" he demanded.
Felicity walked over to him.
"Can I have some of that pizza?" she casually asked.
'What is this about?' Tomas wondered.
'She wants pizza instead of telling us the important stuff?' Mitchell thought.
"Uh, sorry, this one's for the boys." Charlie explained.
"He has to know some way." Felicity said, tensing up.
"FELICITY, NO!" the boys screamed in unison.
Charlie was confused. "Wha--" he begun, but then he heard a low growl as darkness welcomed him.
