Hello there. I'm just writing this as a bookmark in my personal history to remember how cringey I was in the year 2020.
There's really not much to it. I just wanted to write this to clear my mind, more than anything.
The Japanese browser gacha game KanColle is a peculiar type. It centers around the management of a fleet of kanmusume and the resources they use up. Through the trials and tribulations of this neverending marathon, one easily becomes attached to fictional characters rooted in naval history.
However, there are many holes and unanswered questions when it comes down to the details of the game. How does this work? Why is this mechanic here?
As a result, it is extremely common to develop an extension of what is established, or canon, in your own mind. This is called "head canon." Each player has their own unique twists, and it's common to find a wide variety by reading through some doujins.
I, in keeping with "tradition," have created my own set of rules. Before I forget about this stressful period of my life, I want to lay out how my naval base developed, at least in my mind. As such, the stories portrayed futher in the series may not be reflected in the browser game itself.
