I've seen a lot of Blogs about Christianity now, and I think it's great. Listen to them guys. I'll answer some questions about it here.
How could a "loving God" send people to hell?
There needs to be a punishment for sin. God hates sin. God is still loving. He sent His only Son, who IS God, to earth. In human form. His Son carried every sin of everyone in the world on Him, and died for us, so that we don't have to go to hell. If that isn't love, I don't know what is. Why didn't God just force us to do right? God didn't want us to be like robots. He lets us choose what to do. But God created us. That shoud be enough reason to do right.
Couldn't hell be really cool, with all my friends, and all the sinful stuff that I like? No. In hell, you are in burning hot fire. There is complete darkness. There are worms eating you. There is no one around you. All you can hear is screaming. All you will be able to think about is, "I wish I had accepted Jesus". Last question: How do I become a Christian? Believe that Jesus is God's Son. That He died so that we could go to heaven. Accept his gift. You don't have to do anything else. You don't have to be baptized, go to church, or anything. Just accept Jesus' gift. However, you should lve Jesus enough after that to go to Church, be baptized, etc. Bottom Line: Accepting Jesus' gift is the best thing you could do.
