-The kids chased the wolf into the forest. But as they went deeper, the peaceful forest they knew grew darker and more creepier. The color of the trees seemed to grow black, and the water of the stream which ran through the forest grew murky. "Should we go back..?" Breyana asked shakily as she glanced around. "No, we've already come this far." Andrew replied bravely, even though he was shaking slightly and had his wooden sword clutched tightly in his hand. Riley remained silent, for he had been thinking. Why hasn't this place been mentioned before? I don't think I've seen or heard of the deeper parts of the forest, he thought.
-"It's getting darker.." Breyana said as she looked around. "My question, where are the animals? There are always animals in forests." Riley said. "Maybe there are only animals in the shallow part of the forest." Andrew replied. "Hmm, true." Riley said. Breyana bent down beside the murky water and stuck a finger in it. "It's colder than ice" She said as she quickly drew back her finger. She stood up and ran back to Riley and Andrew. They continued into the forest. "Wait," Riley said as he scanned the path ahead. "What happened to the wolf?"
The wolf had gone way ahead, and they hadn't noticed. "He's gone.." Andrew said. "Are we lost?..." Breyana trailed off. "Probably." Riley replied. "But-.." Breyana grew quiet. "But what?" Riley asked confusingly. "Shhh!" She hissed. she looked with fearful eyes at a dark tree nearby. Narrow, Blue eyes seemed to be staring out at them from behind the tree. "What the..." Riley said fearfully. They back up as a giant white paw stepped out from behind the tree. Whatever was there, it seemed ready to attack.
