Last year over 8,000 Sharks got their fins cut off, got their bodies tossed overboard, AND, the shark's bodies were left to die! This is called Shark Finning! The reason fishermen cut off Shark's fins, is because they put the Shark fins into a soup, called Shark Fin Soup, and then they get a lot of money! Why is this a bad thing you may ask? Well, consider this, if we killed all the Sharks in the whole wide world, there would be too many other types of sealife in the ocean. Plus, the Food Chain would be out of wack! For example, if all the Sharks died, there would be to many other sealife, and we need Sharks to eat some of the sealife before the amount of the sealife gets to big! Did you know that in one minute, three Sharks die from Humans. It is sad that fishermen would kill fish for money. Think about it... So if you want to help keep Sharks in the ocean, and NOT in soups, you should:

1. Be in Protests involving Shark Finning.

2. Don't eat Shark Fin Soup.

3. Don't Start Shark Finning.

4. Suggest a resturant that you know serves Shark Fin Soup, to stop serving Shark Fin Soup.

5. Tell People about Shark Finning.
