Hello this is Weegee8. Recently, Nintendo has been announcing several news about games, systems etc. Nintendo has finally explained what most of the May 3DS update will include, as well for the DSi. The update will include the following for the Nintendo 3DS:

-Ability to connect to the Internet automatically at more than 100,000 AT&T Wi-fi Hotspots.
-Ability to stream 3D movies and videos through Netflix into the 3DS.
-Region Locking Activation
-Anti-Piracy Security Update
-Nintendo eShop Activation (which will give access to: 3D Movie Trailers,Game/Movie Screenshots, Game/Movie background information, Links to Publishers' Sites, Downloadable 3DSWare, Downloadable Gameboy and Gameboy Color,Virtual Console software and those from Game Gear and TurboGrafx-16,and short Video Clips (Music Videos, Comedy Shorts etc.)
-Ability to recieve Nintendo DSi Wareâ„¢ from a Nintendo DSi/XL System
-Activation of Nintendo 3DS Internet Browser (Not sufficient information avaiable on this yet, but we do now it will have the ability to: Watch live Video Clips (such as YouTube), HTML5 support (partial), fast browsing,etc.)

Also, there will be a System Update too for Nintendo DSi/DSi XL which will give the ability to transfer Nintendo DSi Wareâ„¢ to the Nintendo 3DS.

These updates will be avaiable early or mid May 2011.
