He laughed. I tried to act as if I didn't like him the rest of the day...Lies. At lunch he sat across from me. While we were eating Chris came and sat beside me.
"Hey Ally!" He said happily, He glanced at James, I hugged him and said,"Hey Chris! What's up?"
He didn't answer though, I could tell he wasn't happy that James was sitting with us. He kept flirting with me but as usual, I loved the attention. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm confused now because Chris is actually getting jealous and the tension is growing. If they were to both ask me out I wouldn't be able to decide. I know I've known Chris longer but I don't want to ruin the friendship we have. I walked into my next class. I have James on one side and Chris on the other. I look over at James and he smiles at me, then at Chris...Nothing. He had a hard expression on his face. As if he was really ticked off. I felt bad so I walked over and sat by him.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked.
He just glanced at me.
"Yes?...No?..." I asked again.
"I can't talk to you." He finally said.
My stomach felt like it dropped.
"Y-Yes you can."
He pushed me away,
"No! I don't to!...You hear me!"
As he yelled the tone of his voice got lower, as if he wished he hadn't said that. I got up and ran out of the classroom.
"Ally I-I'm sorry!", I heard him yell. Everyone looked at me as I ran down the hall. I felt heart broken and mad at the same time. Why? Why did he yell at me? I thought, I ran into the girls bathroom. I went into a stall. The door opened. Footsteps came closer to the stall. Someone knocked on the stall.
"Let me in!"
It was a guy's voice. Wait?...In the girls bathroom? I opened the door. It was James. He grabbed my hand and wrapped his arms around me. I was still crying but very softly.
"I heard him yell."
