TLOZ: Skyward Sword = Setback? By epicprimept

As some of you know, there is a new Zelda game coming out for the Nintendo Wii console (exclusively, and requiring the Wii Motion Plus) sometime during the holiday season. It is titled The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and many fans say that they will look forward to this game, while others say that this game is a setback on the graphics from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess which in my opinion was one of the BEST Zelda games.
Some fans are saying that the graphics look like the graphics from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and that wasn't what they expected after the release of Twilight Princess. In terms of the Zelda timeline, Skyward Sword happens before Ocarina of Time. However, I still believe that even though the graphics from Twilight Princess were unmatched, I also liked the graphics from Ocarina of Time, and I'll be looking forward to this game. I've seen the Debut Trailer for TLOZ: Skyward Sword too, and it looks like a really exciting game. The game looks very fun and challenging, as well as action-packed. Overall, this game, in my opinion, looks very good, and I would get it, being that Zelda games have always been fun to play.
Some weapons that will be featured in the game (not including Link's sword or shield) will be Bombs, a Slingshot, a Bow, the return of Sword Beams, and new weapons such as the Beetle and the Whip. As far as physical places go, Skyward Sword won't be as big as Twilight Princess but rather more dense and in-depth. You can also fly a Loftbird to different regions in Skyloft, much like the King of Red Dragons in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. This game will also be the last game in development for the Wii, as the rest of the games will be made for Nintendo's next upcoming console, the Wii U.
Information about the game:
His entire life, Link has lived on Skyloft, a floating island above the clouds. One day, an event involving Skyward Sword reveals that a land below Skyloft, which is Hyrule, is being overrun by evil forces, which forces Link to go to Hyrule. While Link and a blonde-haired girl (likely Zelda) are riding to Hyrule on Loftbirds, a nearby blast causes the blonde-haired girl to fall into the world below her, which sets up the main theme for the game.

@The Ram I don't remeber a stamina bar in any Zelda game o.o

@tehjew1 Yes, there is a whip in Spirit Tracks.

If I remember reading correctly, there's also a sort of "Stamina-Bar" for running. You can't run continuously. Good luck, Wii-Owners.

Okay, Twilight princess has the best graphics in my opinion (better than skyward sword) But the gameplay was WAY too easy in my opinion.. Every Zelda game i've ever played, i've gotten stuck a bunch of times in, but I could beat Twilight princess with my eyes closed, even the "puzzles" in the snow temple that are apparently "hard" are easy-peasy.

I also don't really think the graphics look THAT much like OoT graphics.. maybe OoT 3DS a bit more, since it's brighter and more colourful. In SS a lot of the monsters remind me of WW. I don't really like how SS doesn't look more realistic.. I think it looks way too kiddish, c'mon nintendo.. and the bird mount is super gimmicky (plus, if it's anything like the birds in TP, they're going to be super awkward to control..) , little kids love flying and animals and stuff.. wolf-link in TP is also kind of little-kid gimmicky, and I just remembered, didn't they change "rolling" to sprinting, or something? I hope not, Link needs to roll. Plus his pants are too damn baggy.

But of course I'll still buy Skyward Sword just because it's a Zelda game.. :l The sword beams returning could be interesting, actually. I wasn't aware they were coming back. Well, at least that's something that could be good.

No, the images are extremely big on a DSi (its even messing with the page width), the auto resizer isn't meant to replace the image resizing, its supposed to not let big images mess up with the page width too much. Please resize the image hen you can, or i will have to reject you blog, sorry.
