Yes... we all know there's no homework or school the next day and you're going to a friends house or going on vacation. Everything is so fun! but then, you feel like its been 2 1/2 weeks instead of 2 1/2 months of summer because school already started. You're going to enter a new school with a new style and you are going to be more "grown" up. there are older people than you that are in different grades and there are some new people that are in the same grade as you. People are looking for new friends or a relationship. Some girls are looking at guys and vise versa. But now that you moved up everything is changed.
More drama, more "relationships", and WAY more studying.Theres also lots more other things.. that YOU can figure out and let the health teachers do more talking about. But when you're in middle school, everythings more different. and the worst years of school life.
There's more than just guys and girls and hanging out though. There's maintaining your grades up, reading a lot more, and most of all... trying harder. Middle school is not going to treat you the way you were in elementary school. They are not going to be ontopof you all the time and some teachers are going to get so fed up at one point, that there is no late homework allowed. So, since middle school could be the worst years of school life, I have a survival guide for people who struggle. ^_^

Tests:
There are much harder tests as you proceed through the school years. You need to maintain those test scores up at all times. To me, i think of middle school as preparing you for high school. Because, if you are going to do something in high school, then you need to have good grades or else you get kicked out of the activity you want to do.

Studying:
Tests lead to studying. If you don't study, then how will you do good on tests!?!! Find a quiet place to go if you need to study. Do not procrastinate (Wait until the last minute to do things)when it comes to studying. I learned this the hard way.

TDAlias- Well, umm i've been in the middle of so much, and idf u go to south hadley.. well then ur pretty much in LOTS of drama. so I beg to differ.. i know wat drama is. Im moving to a different publiuc school system. South hadley was really good school system but too much.
And the grades there are really advanced. there r projects like every 2 weeks and i stood up till (the latest) 1:00 am. doing all schoolwork.
Middle School isn't that bad. Everyone is just so lazy that even one test a week is deemed as "too much work". Hopefully my Freshman Year in High School will be...er...decent.
Middle school was easily the worst years of my life. Everybody is so immature (doesn't help that I'm almost a year older than them all..) and they're all sheeple. I even just said screw it, and got home schooled for grade 8, then went back to public school for highschool. I'm going to be a sophomore this year. And a lot of people say freshman year is the worst school year ever, but it was actually the best year for me. The only thing is, it's very very stressful. You have a crapload of projects and tests every week. And all your teachers seem to like to give hard projects and work at the same time. I still got great marks though, and it was still the best year I'd say. 7th grade was my worst year.
Uh, I beg to differ.
Your Middle School years are great as long as:
1. Your friends don't start crap.
2. Well yeah #1 covered it.
The only time school work becomes troublesome is during highschool. BUT your friends are the only thing that will make those 3 years enjoyable. Pick good ones.
Oh and don't worry about drama until later in your life. You're only 13 years old.
Thankyou every one. i got out of middle school alredy, soo happy!!^_^
@link: yea.. but highschool is wat u make it. im going to the 9th grade and i know lots of ppl but i also stay ontop of everything and 4 me, school comes first and after everything i had to do, then if i have sometime i just hangout n stuff.
@epic artifex: around 6-8th grade or sometimes 5-8th grade. yepp.
middle school "was" awesome for me i never study and i get straight a's i had tons of friends and a super hot girlfriend but now i moved and i really want summer to last 4ever at my new school you gotta wear khaki pants polo shirt and tuck in shirts
um, your wrong. high school is the worst part of school life... or atleast 9th grade is. being in a huge school, even more drama, if you dont study you have about a 70% chance of failing, and projects are about 60% of your finale grade.
