Light can only be seen;
Heat can only be felt;
Sound can only be heard;
Smell can only be smelt.

But there are things that can neither be heard,
Nor be felt, nor smelt nor seen.
Such as is, they can only be known
To exist, and to have been.

What one knows is what one perceives,
And what one believes to be true.
But what one doesn't, does not exist,
Even though it may actually do.

Everything one knows, exists in truth;
But everything one believes in, also does.
For what holds true to ones mind,
Does not affect the rest of us.
