"Communications with Alaska went down for no reason" Persisted a little man about 5 ft 6, in a white lab coat with a neatly trimmed mustache. "Professor Dean, we have more important things to deal with right now!" I yelled back. For someone so short, he had a lot of fight and courage in himself. "But sir, its completly unexplained! Listen to me!" yelled Profesor Dean angrily. "Fine, fine, I will check it out after lunch." I said with no emotion.

I went outside of the Lake Tahoe lab to stretch, and I spotted something very odd. A white tailed finch, but what was the finch doing here it should have migrated more towards the North by now. "huh, somethings wrong" I said to myself. I walked over to the lake and looked into it. It was wavey, but I could still see a reflection of myself, a 6ft 4 man with solid brown hair, clean shaven, very slim, and handsome. After looking at myself in the lake I realized another thing, the wind had shifted and was coming from the North. I thought for a second and decided to go in and further investigate the Alaskan malfunctions.

"John! Hurry, get in here!" Yelled Dean. I ran in as quick as I could and stood in horror. "Is this real?" I asked Dean. "Ye- yes" he replied hessitating. The video showed Seatle Washington with 8 feet of water flooding the streets, yet no rain. "Whats, going on?" I asked. Dean waited a few seconds and finally replied. "No, No, no, no, my calculations were correct" "Wait what" I asked. "The Arctic is melting."Dean shook his head. "Well standing here isn't going to help, what do we do!"I asked angrily.

3:00p.m
I feel terrible. Dean and I decided it would be safest to drive up to the top of the rocky mountains. While he drove I tuned in to see whats going on in Seatle. The waters up to 19 ft, the whole citys a canal! In the background you can hear people screaming.
