Hello,

So many have a 3DS and many carry it around a lot. But there is a.. Hm.. Theres a bad design in the model of the 3DS. You know the 3DS Bottom screen border? The border surrounding the bottom screen? Well, when you close it, and move around with it closed, it scratches the top screen. It's a bugger to play games with two, or four scratches on your screen. So far, Nintendo has done nothing to prevent it. However, I found a few ways to prevent it.

1) When you buy your 3DS, You get a 1 year warranty, send in your 3DS for screen repairs and when you get it back, do the following.

2) Screen protectors. They will help protect your screen, but they to may get wrecked within a few weeks/months. Although depending on where you live, it may cost a few bucks.

3) If you don't want to spend money, and don't want scratches on your 3DS screen, Get two peaces of paper, Properly duck-tape each peace of paper (Don't duck tape the papers together) They should be the height, and width of a peace of gum. Then align them up to the corner of the sides of the 3DS top corners. One on the left, one on the right. Then place duck tape on the out side of the 3DS, then rap it over the paper and have the tap end, and stick right above the speakers. (This may be confusing, bare with me on this, I may do a video on how to do this) This will prevent the 3DS to close all the way, therefor the bottom screen cannot receive any scratches.

These steps will save you money so when your warranty wares off, you don't need to spend lots of money to fix it.
