"Where are we going?" I asked, trying to see through the dark, murky waters. "You'll see," Ampon answered, never looking back. Soon, the ocean around us began to get brighter and I was flooded with relief. It made me uncomfortable being in the dark ocean, not knowing what could be lurking in the shadows. Suddenly, a great, steep barrier of rock rose in front of us. Ampon made a sharp turn with a flick of his flippers and entered a tiny crack in the humongous wall. I treaded in the water, not knowing what to do. Suddenly, Ampon shouted,"Follow my voice!" His voice seemed to be to my right. Skimming the wall, I swam swiftly to my right. "Keep talking!" I shouted. "Over here!" Ampon called. I swam farther and found myself facing a gigantic, dark hole in the face of the rock. "Come on in!" Ampon's voice yelled. I looked forward into the hole, hesitant. I swam forward a bit. "C'mon!" Ampon shouted. "Don't be afraid, I'm right here!" I stared for a few minutes more, before closing my eyes and swimming through the hole as fast as my fin would take me. I saw brightness behind my eyelids and opened my eyes. I'd made it through the wall. I turned to see Ampon swimming towards me. "We're getting close," he said. "Close to where?" I asked.
