Hold her in my arms,
can't ever let go.
Intertwine our hands,
this love is what I wished to know.

Its true love, can't be seperated,
for when she's gone it hurts.
One day goes by, a little sting,
a week goes by, a punch to the face.

She finally calls, tells me she left,
everything overwhelmed her.
Without her though I'm nothing,
what ever could I do.

I sit in the dark room,
the silly heart drawings mock me.
I rip them off the wall,
on my back, hard, I fall.

The tears in my eyes are from her,
just a while ago she left my door.
Never find love again, this I am sure,
my heart is rotting to the core.

I feel... nothing, I am numb,
my body is cold, as is her heart.
Can't talk, whistle or hum,
now that me and her are apart.

This is love, right?
This sinking feeling, I now have.
If I didn't care , I wouldn't hurt,
but everyday it numbs less.

A week, a month, then a year,
the time without her flies.
One day I walk down the street,
and remeet her crystal eyes.

I turn, run back,
don't want to be hurt again.
I hear her yell my name,
she still sounds just the same.

I make it to my house,
get to my door.
It is unlocked,
that shouldn't be.

Inside is where she led them,
the people she had befriended.
Waiting for me with a gun,
I try to make a run.

Out the door I made it,
made it to my doom.
The gun goes off, I go limp,
I fall the two stories.

I hit the ground unlike a cat,
I fall flat on my back.
I feel pain everywhere,
I can't even move.

I blink one last time,
see her there, she grabs my hand.
"I'm so sorry, sweetie,
I love you though. And always will."
then hear one last bang.
