I am frustrated by the fact that what a celebrity does is now front page news. It's not interesting and it's trivial. Would you be interested in an old man getting a pet dog? Exactly, you wouldn't. So why is it interesting when Joe Blogs does?

What is even more frustrating is when I have to scramble through celebrities to find my crossword puzzle. It's not funny. I'm going to find it anyway so don't bother hiding it. Since when is a celebrity's life more important than Tuesday's Crossword anyway? It's not. I don't care and I never will.

Call me cynical but please don't expose me to the toxicity of the media. I remember when we had real news in newspapers. Now it isn't. Sure politics isn't that exciting. It is much better than the filth nowadays though.

Here's an example: Lady Gaga is fat. Who cares? Loads of people are fat. Why does Lady Gaga suddenly interest people in the issue of obesity? It's been a problem for centuries and all of a sudden it matters. Well guess what? It doesn't. I don't care what she says, what her agressors say or anybody. It's her life; it's boring. If I said I was obese, does that interest you? Does my divorce interest you? Does my 1378th abortion interest you? No. It doesn't. Why is it interesting when it happens to celebrities then? Why does fame make somebody's life interesting? In fact, I bet in 10 years time, front page news will be "John Mcdonald goes to toilet" or "John Mcdonald buys winegums." I'm serious about this too. I swear I saw something like that once.

In fact, why do we need newspapers to look at a celebrity's life anyway? Isn't that what biographies are for? Oh wait I forgot, people can't read nowadays. We have to buy newspapers not books. In fact, I bet newspapers are feeding us dumbed down news so we avoid news. That's why celebrities are 'important' suddenly.

This grinds my gears so much that I am ground out. I'm going to stop this rant. You get the general idea though.
