Hey everybody, Journey here with another Nintendo Update for everyone here at SDK Forums! We have a huge amount of info, including new games and dlc, so let's get started!



First and foremost, I have some new details on everybody's favorite strategy franchise, Fire Emblem! It was confirmed today by Nintendo that the demo for Fire Emblem: Awakening, will be hitting the Nintendo eShop next week. Nintendo has also revealed some details regarding Fire Emblem's DLC. From day one, players will be able to purchase additional map packs that will provide additional content, including story content and bonuses such as gold. New maps will be released weekly, and for those who purchase the game near launch date, an exclusive map will be available for free for a limited time. On a different note, players will be able to create teams via streetpass. You can have a team of up to ten people, and while playing the single player game, your team may appear on certain maps where they can provide assistance.


Absolutely drool-worthy.

And now, onto the Wii U news!



Let's start out with some game announcements. The first, and perhaps most surprising, is about The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. Unlike Telltale's point and click adventure, this is purely a first person shooter, albeit with a strong emphasis on survival. It's coming to other platforms May 26th, but it's currently unknown when the Wii U version will be released. I'll let you know!



The other game that was announced? get excited, cause this is one that you've all been waiting for.... Lego Marvel Super Heroes.



Because Lord knows we need another Lego game.

Don't expect too much hype on this game. Although, if you're an Avengers fan, this may be looking into. Maybe. Probably not.

I know that you would much rather go around assassinating people. Finished Assassins Creed III already? Well get ready to shove that game disc back in your Console, because Ubisoft has confirmed that the Battle Hardened DLC is on it's way.

And to finish off, Nyko has announced some Wii U accessories, which I have pictured below. There is the Wii U Pro Controller, which feels much more like a 360 Controller. It even has somewhat-analog trrigers! They've also announced a Gamepad battery pack that doubles the controllers life, as well as a charging station. Better start saving up!
