I'm not so sure if you heard it, but TacoRocco will not be coming back for a while. He gave me the honor of hosting the annual DSiPaint quilt event, indeterminately, and I'm here today to write about the requirements and this year's theme!

For quick reference, here is the First DSiPaint quilt rules and requirements blog (link) , by total coincidence, featured by myself when I was still a blog moderator xD.

If you don't know what is the DSiPaint quilt I will write a quick introduction; Its already a tradition of our community, having its 3rd edition this year. Each user basically draws 1 square and in the end, every square is put together to make the final quilt which is shown by the end of the year.

Rules:

You know them! Nothing inappropriate, and this year please stick to the theme

The theme will be:

Video Games!

Draw anything from your favorite character to a pixelated version of it, or even the logo for your favorite franchise or video game maker! I will accept any kind of drawings, but in the end all will be resized to fit the quilt. Resizing will depend upon the drawing's nature, orientation and resolution. I will also resize some drawings based on detail. So the best drawings will appear bigger! Don't worry this won't mess up the quilt

I would like to add that I encourage adding your signature to the drawing itself, or I will write the member's name discretely inside the square so the quilt will have each author properly credited, and in my view, that will make the quilt even more beautiful!

I will be blogging the final quilt by the end of this year, and this blog will be bumped so more members will be aware of the event.

How to send your square

You can draw it with DSiPaint, 3DSPaint, WiiPaint, your favorite painting software as long as a .png image is formed. Then you can:


* Upload the file to your favorite image hoster and send me the raw link (directlink).

* Send me via e-mail: dsipaintquilt@hotmail.com

* Comment on my profile or this blog telling me where it is in your gallery.

* Contact me.
