The sky's filled with Carbondioxide.
There is toxic rain here and gas at the other side. My name is Avon, and over 4 days we'll head out to Mars. How this happened? Well, it's the year 3033 and in the century's that came, people builded thousends of new factory's which ofcourse exploded by the toxic rain it created. I wish that we would've stopped the creators before. In this world there are 3 kinds of people. Us as in "normal humans" us, a mutated version of us and an army of rebels which we call The MulattenElite. We our selfs are the General Protection Unit, but I'm doubt that we are actually protecting anyone.
Before we can leave, we need some supply's. But we aren't the only one.
Footsteps and rain is all I hear, while moving closer to the target, our squad leader holds. There is something moving... In a loud explosion our Leader dies, guess who's second-in-command. Many explosions follow, while screaming to fall back. We shot plenty of bullets back. After a big gunfight and more explosions. The Armoured Special Canoneers arrives and finishes their remaining Mulatten forces. We lost 3 men including our squad leader, they lost atleast ten Men including some mutated.
Walking in to a building which has been possesed by the Mulatten was always dangerous, there could be traps everywhere. Breaching, Entering and clearing. Three steps to a succesfull loot. First the Canonneers, then us. "Sir, movement at 12" I heared. "Copy, Squad take the left side of the corridor" I said. Something big was moving, it wasn't human at all... Before we could react it lunged at us, killing some of our men. "FALL BACK!" Shooting everything at this giant beast, something came down from the roof. Loud splashing and cracking noises....
Accepted, Reason: I too saw at least 1 mistake in grammar...with that being said other then not understanding much about what I read, it seemed creative & of course it was very different from the normal short story seen on here. I'll accept it as a start, but in the next one, please be a bit more clear so it's easier to follow the story?
