Hi, today I want to talk about Pokémon. I'm a fan of Pokémon. From Ruby/Saphire when a friend of mine played Saphire and after a year, I bought Pokémon Ruby in French. I believe I'm a "Veteran" of Pokémon because I have more than 12 years of experience and I have played two Pokémon games like Yellow or Crystal (before III generation). Actually, my favourite generations are the first 3. And maybe I have played Pokémon just from the 3º gen. But I had a lot of Pokémon objects before that generation.
Anyway, I'm not here to talk about if I'm a veteran or not. For me, I feel that I am, but I want to talk about the veterans/noobs discussions about what generations are better or worse.
Personally, I thing the 1, 2 and 3 gen. are the most awesome and beautiful of ever, but I really, really, REALLY hated the 5º generation, so I'm right? I'm a "correct" Pokémon fan? The answer is: Maybe...
What is the difference about a young boy of 6 years old playing Pokémon Blue in 1997 to a 7 years old boy playing Pokémon Black and White on 2013? Yes, the games are different, yes the Pokémon too... Yes the graphics and consoles too... But in their hearts they're not different. I remember when I was a new Pokémon player and any "new" Pokémon I have seen have made me excited, my bests years of Pokémon ¡YES! Now I know practically everything about Pokémon and each new generation I see all the new Pokémon on Internet before playing the games, but what I really loved about my first few years of Pokémon is the new mysteries I have had to resolve and each new Pokémon I have seen in those years...
Coming back to the principal theme of this blog, not everyone likes one generation or hates others. No one is the best or the worst. It all just depends on each player, and that is maybe one of the best things about Pokémon.
A lot of people say the first and second generations were the most original, ok... Now look Mr. Mime (one of the Pokémon I hate the most), Jynx or Dunsparce ... Are not so great, correct?
And another person says that Muk are really horrible for being a Pokémon... But you know what? Grimer and Muk are two of my favourite Poison Pokémon! (seriously).
And some veterans I know (friends of mine) say that a Pokémon candela from the 5th generation is awesome, but I don't like it.
On the 5th gen. I think the most hated Pokémon are Vanilsh (or whatever it's called, the ice cream PKMN and her evolutions) and Trubbish... I agree are horrible, but for me!
And please don't say ALL the 5th gen. are horrible because if we think on Pokémon like Zorua or Braviary, who're really awesome, 100 times more of a creepy perverse mime friend of kids (Mr. Mime) from the first generation...
On my personal opinion, the 4th gen. began this division from the veterans to the new fans, because if we really think on this gen. the Pokémon are an adorable, pretty sweet thing (like Prinplup, Turtwig or Shaymin) or a beast from hell (like Garchomp, Torterra or Giratina)...
Another thing that I remember (talking about Giratina) is FOR ME (Personally) the legendary Pokémon before 4th gen. is better... Look Articuno, Zapdos, Suicune, Mewtwo and Mew, Kyorge, Jirachi... Now think on Tornadus, Giratina, Meloetta, Zekrom (a copy of Palkia for me. Search the theory on Google) or Genesect...
So... I don't have a lot more to say... For me, I prefer the I, II and III generations. I'm okay with the IV generation and iI hate the V generation... ¿What you think about all what I"ve said in this blog? You love some generation? You hate another generation? Tell me in the comments, please.
If you are asking what I thing about the VI (6th) generation... I'm loving it, for now. All Pokémon are simple, originals and creatives. And about the games, I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing from Nintendo.
If I need to say what I'm sad from the VI gen. is maybe the fact that Nintendo has "touch" Mewtwo, anyway the original Mewtwo is going to be with us forever! And I'm a little sad too about the fact that the new Kairos region be based JUST on France, because I was hoping to see a representation of the BigBang (London, UK), Roman Colosseum (Rome, Italy), That monument with horses (Ignorance* - Berlin, Germany), "La Sagrada Familia" (Barcelona, Spain) and a lot more monuments from Europe. Europe has a lot of pretty things, and France has a lot too... But you understand what I want.
Just 2 notes:
-If you are interested in Pokémon X & Y, please check my group "Pokémon X & Y"
-The english is not my mater language, so I'm sorry for any thing you don't understand.
Thanks a lot for reading my blog, I'd love to see the comments. So... Comment... Right now... ¬¬

The first GAME I got was pearl. My little brother broke that just as I got to the casino, so on his birthday I suggested mom buy him dimond so I can finish the concept. Then I went on to emerald, then soulsilver(the best in my opinion),Black, and Black 2(big inprovement). I'm beating gen one on an emulator.
My first pokemon game was crystal which I got used when I was 7 (2006). At that time I did not really know what pokemon was. I've played all gen. now except gen 3. I have to say my favorite was gen 2. because it was the first one I played. I personality like all the generations. Also garchomp is so so so cute!!
My first game was Diamond, Gen IV is definitely my favorite. They have D/P/Pt and then HG/SS too, that's basically 3 games in one gen, I think.
I've played all the Gen III games and I personally don't like them as much. They're good and the pokemon are cool, some of my favorites are from Gen III but the storyline for me is sort of an eh. The gen 1 remakes are nice but it's sort of weird and the islands are just kind of a "lolwut"...
Gen V has a cool-ish bad guy team, the seven sages, Ghetsis, N, but the new pokemon were sort of a blah, except for a few. Also, the infrared Streetpass-like thing sucked the life of my 3DS almost instantly...
I feel like bringing the internet into the games really makes it fun for trading, battling, etc.
Plus, with the multiple legendaries in gen IV and the half-legendaries, if you end up missing Kyogre there are still more catchable legendaries, Cresselia, Darkrai, Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf, Shaymin, Giratina, Arceus, and Rotom, etc.
The mystery gift feature online, lets people who don't have time to go to events can catch them by connecting online.
Those features are in Gen V but they were introduced in Diamomd/Pearl and so they felt new and were more main features of the game.
Oops. Made a few errors. I meant Dialga instead of Kyogre...
Also, I don't hate any gen. They're all great, but my favorite is IV, just because of the features I mentioned, and because of the flaws of the other gens. Sure, gen IV has flaws too, but they weren't so bad that I considered a different as my favorite. I'm not saying the flaws I said are really bad...
._.
I guess I'm just saying they're all great but I think gen IV is the best, in my opinion
ive been playing pokemon since blue version, and its been my passion. i love all pokemon and pokemon gens reguardless. it my not be exciting and new like other games but its always there with something for everyone. it shouldnt matter about what the pokemon looks like or anything like that, what does matter is that you enjoy the game.
