Some of this is probably due to Sony's attack on the Xbox One at their press conference. You know, the video on how to share games on the PS4. It was an obvious nod towards the Xbox One and it's attitude towards used games.
We've been told by Microsoft that, on their new system, they will have a fee. Well, according to a Giantbomb article, Microsoft is getting rid of all restrictions on used games. That's not it though. You won't need to sign on to the internet every 24-hours either, though you will need the internet when setting it up. Infact, they dropped a lot of policies. Before, you would have had to go on the web browser and register each of the games you got, that is no longer. The Xbox One game discs will work the same as the discs for Xbox 360 does. In addition, you won't need to be online to play downloaded games, you can play them offline. A lot more policies have been revealed to be gone, but I can not remember them all. However, what I do remember is that they are disabling regionlock, which is a huge surprise.
I remember my mom showing me an article recently, it said that the Xbox One will only work in 21 states. Yep, and not all countries will be able to use it either. They got to coose. One factor they used is obesity rates. One area in particular that is not getting the Xbox One at launch is Washington D.C. The Microsoft rep told the author of the article that it was because of obesity rates and something else. In reality, however, all of Washington D.C. decided to boycott everything Xbox. This paragraph's information is about a week old, maybe more, maybe less.
I got my information from Kotaku, Game Informer, and that article my mom showed me, I will put that company's name when I get it.
Sorry this blog is kinda short, the story is still developing, though Microsoft will officially announce the first two paragraphs soon.
The xbox one working in only 21 states isn't true. It will only work in 21 countries, or, be sold in 21 countries. With the T.V. stuff only working in the U.S.A. But even with that, Xbox One failed.
Nintendo fans keep saying the Wii U is going to be the best. While it isn't doing that great right now. I wouldn't really call it Next gen. It doesn't have great third party support, they even said their main focus is first party games, which they are taking forever to release. Maybe once the bigger games start being let out it will pick up. It will do 10x better than the Xbox one ever will though.
i was really looking forward to advances in gaming, but all i have is disappointment. growing up all my brother and i had were video games, we grew with them. watching games, graphics, and plots go to new places as we did and finally getting to the point i thought would be beautiful, but i was wrong. the games are not growin as they used to, instead its more and more slow and unoriginal. focused on money. its breaking my heart.
Nintendo will still have it's 2 Aces, the 3DS and Wii U, Sony, there ace is there Ps4, Microsoft has a king, Xbox 360, and there Joker, Xbox One. Think of all gaming companies as a poker game where the stakes are people and money.
Although the next console I get will probably be a Wii U (after more slavery), Sony has my respect this year. Aside from Vita, the PS4 looks like a decent console.
Microsoft won't see a dime from me.
But they did also confirm that they have the right to change these at any time.
They also have shown us with their initial release what their future plans are. And how little they actually care about the customers.
It wasn't until their profit looked bleak that they actually changed anything.
Also, with the axing of the online checks, you also lose your game lending features and your "game library in the cloud."
Basically, don't buy into whatever M$ is saying just yet. Their entire ad campaign for the Xbone so far has been smoke and mirrors. The E3 demos of the Xbone were run on high end PC's that weren't even COMPARABLE to the Xbone's actual specs. They've lied about "exclusives" like Titanfall, that great One game (that is also on the 360 and PC)
Their only true exclusive right now is Dead Rising 3 and I think Ryse.
Plus, they still didn't lift the mandatory always-on Kinect sensor.
PS4, Wii U, 3DS, and PC/Steam are the only gaming you'll need next gen. Trust me.
Either way, I still wouldn't get the Xbone. But Microsoft did confirm the changes to Kotaku and said that some features will be sacrificed and in order to put it into effect it'll need a day one update. I've been following the story just because it's fun watching Microsoft squirm like a worm. No, not a worm, some people respect worms for what they are.

Don't forget Hasbro, Milton Bradley, and Parker Brothers, for gaming, because unless you get some kind of gold-plated Scrabble or a Monopoly with sterling silver hotels, all their games are cheaper than the XBone, and you can loan them to friends any time and play them without the NSA knowing about it. Yes, I just ranked Microsoft below rehashes of 80 year old board games. I'm that much of a troll.

That's true. Microsoft already screwed up with the XBone and there really isn't a way to fix that.
Microsoft's wallets are even fatter, for charging 500 big ones for their system. They'll make a profit, regardless of when and where they release it! :I
