Well, I've been gone for QUITE a while, for personal, mental health reasons. But, I've been thinking a lot lately & it's time for me to make my come back. I'm doing this by sharing a very personal poem I wrote not long ago (about a month or 2 ago maybe?) The story behind the poem is quite simple. I was really close to my grandfather, who died when I was about 12. His birthday just passed so I wrote this for him.

Rememberance
So long ago
I was a child
Looking to you
For that big smile

So long ago
I was so young
I still remember
The hugs & the love

It's been so long
Your face never fades
Your memory still here
In my heart it will stay
