I asked a few of my close friends if I should make a blog of my art, and they said yes. My art consists of mostly abstract, and Illusions. Sometimes even Cartoon Characters. I work very hard on my art so I hope you like it. Also. I'll just be updating this blog until I run out of room. so be sure to check in to see more.
Abstract Dragon:
To be honest, This is one of my many drawings where I couldn't tell what it was, till someone told me what they saw. Drawing this piece took me I'd say maybe three days, possibly five. I drew this when I was fifteen around when I was just starting out with my own kind of abstract. I love dragons, but I never thought I'd draw one like this.
Ink Phoenix:
Another piece I didn't notice at first glance. Infact, my seven year old niece is who noticed it. Since I've drawn birds since I was small; I can see how it ended up in an accidental drawing. This piece took me, I'd say a week, maybe six days. I enjoyed discovering the hidden bird's final features with my niece, and I hope to do more.
Swirling Blossom Tree:
Believe it or not, But The Blossom tree only took me five minutes. Since I draw swirls so much; I thought I'd make a quick simple never before seen tree, but found I had accidentally drawn the tree in my front yard. Funny how memories end up in things you draw.
Dimensional Vortex:
Originally This was a simple inspiration drawing done by my nephew. Which he had called "Dillon's". But seeing him disappointed with how he had drawn his simple symbol. I turned it into his Birthday present. Shhh. Don't tell him yet. This piece took me about three days and I loved the challenge of turning it into something new.
Paradox Rose:
This piece is one of my personal favorites; mostly because I had dreamt of this three separate times. This piece I think captures the full beauty of an uncommon colored rose, but in a new perspective. I think I spent 2 weeks perfecting this one. and I love how it turned out.
Elemental Star:
I have always loved to fiddle with different patterns, but I never thought of making one perfectly symmetrical until I thought of the Star of David. If you look at the picture from the side you'll see that's what I based this off of, but I put my own little twist on it. Literally, I makes it spiral in on itself. This took me, I think, about five days. I love how it turned out, but almost wish I had colored it differently.
Imagination:
This one I wasn't sure what to call it, but 'Imagination' seems to fit. Especially since it looks like I had imagined it. But I didn't. Infact I had done this free hand and out of boredom. See I was on vacation with my dad in Kansas City. My dad had a job to do, building a Mcdonald's, and I got to stay in the hotel being lazy. lol So I drew this and It took me about ten or twenty minutes for the layout, but a year later I colored it. So that took me fifteen minutes. I enjoyed doing this one the most, because I got the inspiration for it from a painting I noticed in a hospital call "Children's Mercy" But that's another story.
Unknown Man:
To be dead honest I have no clue who this is supposed to be. I dreamt of this face, and I just had to draw it. It took me about ten minutes. and I think it turned out great. I would love to know if anyone actually looked like this. I think the face is very nice.
More to come hope you like it so far.
