It's really interesting to come back to this site in 2017 when I started in 2011. And for one particular reason.

At the time it didn't matter to me where my mark was left because when I was 10 or... Not much older, I wasn't thinking about the future, and I was just doing whatever for whatever reason (kind of like now?). Anyhow, I did a lot of stuff on this website and I deleted almost none of it.

Being able to look at it now and reflect on who I was when I was younger is like being able to travel back in time and compare to who I am now, and it's really one of the most unique experiences I've felt and it's all thanks to this website. The community has allowed me to record who I was at some point in the past and has preserved it for me to look at now. I can't begin to express the kind of gratitude I have for that because I don't exist to look back on in any other place but here.

I can make fun of this place, but I really do owe it a thank you for existing.

Let's not mention I met the person I'm engaged to here as well.

Can you imagine that?

Meeting some random person on some random community in some arbitrary point in the vast collection of information on the internet. Only to eventually form a partnership that escapes words? I cannot.

And thusly I have another thank you owed to this website.
