the passwords are hashed - but that's not the problem.

I gather that the currently logged in user is storred in a php session, so unless your game is hosted on DSiPaint you can't access that. (very easily >_> it seems like anything is possible if you try hard enough when it comes to this stuff...)

Anyway is there someplace I can check out your game? I have a simple PHP leaderboard script I could share with you.

I check dsipaint.com from my android phone all the time. You have to make sure javascript is enabled on your phone and it even works pretty well even over the cell data connection.

Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?

it's nonsense, but it was derived from the turkish word 'yabancı', which means 'foreign'. So it's funny that a lot of people misspell it as Yabanja.

I actually painted that in photoshop, but that keeps confusing people so I should get around to doing a dsi version =]

Okay, people have been asking for more games a lot on our mini site, so I have set up an event to gauge how many people really want a new DSi Browser game. The original details are posted on my profile, and I might make a thread about it but here's the gist:

If I get 100 new followers on twitter to tweet "@Yobonja moar gamez plz!!1" or something to that effect, I'll make a new game based on one of our other games. If I get 200, I'll make an original game. Otherwise if I get 50 or more, I'll contribute some art to TMJ. And lower than that, I'll keep on course with the iPad games.

You don't necessarily need to buy a server, but learning PHP and SQL is fun.

Hey guys, I just wanted to make a note about password security.

If you are an admin in one site, and register for another DSi site, the creator of that site can potentially know your password.

If they don't hash the passwords when they store it in their database, they can just read it.

So if you are an admin, it would be wise to use a different password on the site you are an admin for.

(Even if you aren't an admin it's good to use different passwords.)

You know, I was asking about that in chat yesterday. I wanted to know if anyone had actually played two player successfully.

I'm guessing it didn't work out for you? Were you using styluses or just your fingers?

A turn based mode would work, I might have to do that if two player is just unplayable. Thanks for letting me know!

Anyway, I was testing an idea about HTML injection in your username, and altering the hidden fields for points, level and ip to arbitrary values. You should watch out for that, and SQL injection =]

Haha, no need to be mad =] I'm glad you like them!

I use Admob.com for ads, it's pretty good. but I wouldn't call ads easy-money pie :( you need a lot of clicks/views to make any sort of money. They do pay to paypal though, so good luck with that.

=] It actually is a company, we make iPhone/iPad games(so far). I just like DSi browser stuff, so I put these together using the art I make for the other games. Actually I made Tap Party DSi because somebody requested it on our blog!
