Is it possible to talk about the site on MiiVerse? DSiPaint is pretty dead, but theorectically we could bring in old 3DS and WiiU users.

The Sega Genesis is older than the Nintendo 64. The Genesis was actually the rival console to the NES ans SNES.

The Zelda games are repetitive, too. Ganon escapes his prison or tries to obtain ALL the Triforce pieces to achieve god-like power. Link has to go stop this madman, sometimes with Zelda's aid, but she usually gets kidnapped and divides her Triforce of Wisdom into smaller pieces spread throughout Hyrule. Link has to beat Ganon, complete the Triforce, "LISTEN!", and not be mauled by psychotic foul. The end. Just as repetitive as Mario games.

His motive is almost always different. In the first SMB, Bowser (then known as King Koopa) was trying to overtake and conquer the Mushroom Kingdom because he is an evil anthropomorphic tortoise beast that leads a militaristic tribe of koopas that use black magic.The spell that they cast over the kingdom transformed many citizens into blocks and other objects. Knowing that Princess Toadstool was the only one capable of breaking the spell, he kidnapped her and hid her in (another) castle.With the alliance with the Goomba race, who betrayed the Mushroom Kingdom, King Koopa took over the kingdom.. until Mario, who heard the peril of this distant land, traveled through the 8 mushroom worlds and Koopa's troops, beat up his shelled ass and sent the beast careening into a pit of lava, and saved the princess. Then he pushed the "B" button to start a new quest.

In other games, Bowser kidnaps Peach for similar reasons or because it is (heavily) hinted he has affection for her.
